Thanks to the people who answered my question about smoking a boston butt. I need a little more help with it.?

Im using a brinkminn grill/smoker that has the firebox on the side. How much charcoal do i use and wood chips? Do i need to add more as it cooks or will what i start with be enough? A boston butt is my favorite food and i really wanna get this smoking down pat. Thanks in advance for any answers. Thanks to the people who answered my question about smoking a boston butt. You will need to play with it a bit. Start with a medium amount of charcoal and keep close tabs on the temperature. You want to keep it in the range of 200 - 220. You will definitely need to add more coal as the day goes by considering that you will be smoking it for 8+ hours.
