Buy a small propane stove. You can get a single burner propane stove at a camping store for $10. I have cooked over an open fire but unless you have pans for this purpose, you will ruin them. It will cost you more to replace the pans than buying a cheap (and very small) propane burner. As an added benefit, it's much better for making coffee too.

This one costs $16, but you get the idea

put butter wit the rice duuh
Basically same as any stove. Add water to rice one finger knuckle above rice. Do not cover until water comes to a boil (meanwhile stirring while coming to boil to avoid sticking on bottom.) After reaching boil, cover, make sure u have a bed of wood coals that will let it slow down to a simmer, then 10 minutes and u are there. That is ten minutes after covering. Do not uncover before 10 minutes.
Well, you will need to grease the pot and then it's about 1 cup of water to 1/2 cup rice...
These are meant to hold dutch ovens.

You can hang the pot from a wire frame over the campfire. Available at some sporting goods stores.

Either pre-cook the rice at home or I would suggest that you make a dish that incorporates the rice into it to keep the rice from burning. Some sort of casserole.

Here is mine:

STEELHEADER'S KIELBASA AND CHEESY RICE

Chopped onion, bell peppers, garlic and celery.

Combine with tomatos and tomato soup from a can, 2 cups of Minute rice or precooked rice.

Add onion powder, black pepper, hot sauce. The consistency should be lick thick soup, add water to get it to that stage.

Chop up a Kielbasa sausage into 1 1/2 lengths and throw in the pot. Cookd for about 45 minutes to 1 hour over the campfire, stirring often. In the last ten minutes of cooking, sprinkle grated cheddar or any kind of cheese on top.
