I cook with indirect heat on my charcoal grill with the side fire box. The grill usually gets about 225..I was curious what the temperature has to be and how long so that I don't get sick or anything..How long and what temperature is the minimum for ensuring that my grill is safe to cook on?Please read details?

the best way to do this is to use a thermometer in the meat you are grilling. Minimum temperatures are usually around 165 F. Be sure to place the thermometer in the thickest part of the piece of meat.
